How do I switch In&box on and off?

Turning the In&box On and Off with a Double-Click on the Central Button

The central button of the In&box allows you to turn the In&box on and off without removing it from your vest. This is the "basic" method, ideal for daily use. Simply perform a quick double-click on the central button of the In&box, at the same rhythm you would use to double-click a computer mouse.

 

Turning the In&box On and Off with the App (Remote ON/OFF)

You can also turn the In&box on or off directly from the My In&box mobile app!

  1. Ensure that both your mobile app and the In&box are updated.
  2. Turn the In&box on for the first time using the central button.
  3. Open the My In&box app, log in to your account, and pair the In&box. Navigate to the "Settings" tab, then to "App Preferences."
  4. Activate the "Remote On/Off" feature.
  5. You can now turn the In&box on or off directly from the app!

Attention:

  • If you have activated "In&box State" notifications, they will be disabled when the In&box enters sleep mode via the app button. You can reactivate them when you turn the In&box back on.
  • If the In&box has been turned off using the central button, the side button, or due to a completely drained battery, you will not be able to turn it back on via the mobile app.
  • For the ON/OFF button to work, the In&box must not be in the middle of an update or a synchronization phase.

In&box Sleep States

When not in use, the In&box can be in two different states:

  • Off: Battery consumption is almost zero. To turn off the In&box, press the central button with a double click.
  • Sleep: Battery consumption is very low—this occurs when the In&box detects no movement for more than two minutes. There's no need to manually turn it on or off, as it will wake up automatically at the slightest motion. However, ensure it remains on a completely stationary surface.

Note: The In&box can also be in "deep sleep" mode, which maintains a low battery consumption with only a Bluetooth connection active. This can be achieved by selecting "put the In&box to sleep" via your phone (Remote ON/OFF feature).

 

Attention: Make sure to turn off the In&box during any form of transport when the airbag system is not in use (e.g., boat, car, top case, etc.), or when the system is not being worn for several consecutive days (e.g., a week). If your In&box has a side latch, switch it to "OFF" when the device will not be used for several weeks.
