What are the differences between detection modes?

As usage patterns differ significantly between track Motorcycle riding (circuit racing), road riding, off-road riding, Equestrian activities, and Urban Mobility, it is essential to adapt to each discipline in order to ensure optimal protection in the event of falls and accidents.

In&motion has therefore developed several detection modes that adapt to each practice to optimize protection.

Horse Riding Modes

The Horse Riding detection modes have been designed to be used exclusively for horse riding in the following disciplines: show jumping (CSO), cross-country, dressage, trail riding, hunter riding, and endurance racing.

⚠ The Horseback Riding and Intensive Horse Riding modes are not yet available in the United States, Canada, and Japan.

Horse Riding Mode

The Horseback Riding detection mode is suitable for recreational use, including jumps under 0.80 m.
This mode was developed with high detection sensitivity to ensure maximum protection in all fall situations.

Intensive Horse Riding Mode

The Intensive Horse Riding detection mode is designed for advanced riding, including jumps from 0.80 m and above, as well as frequent changes in gait and direction. It is intended for riders competing at advanced national, professional, or international FEI levels.
Thanks to targeted detection of actual falls, this mode is intended for experienced riders who do not want the airbag to trigger due to minor falls, temporary loss of balance, or the vigorous movements inherent to this level of riding.

Can I wear the vest during horse breaking-in?

Breaking-in is not a discipline per se, but a learning phase for a horse, including groundwork and first saddling sessions.

Certain positions specific to the breaking-in process, such as lying across the horse's back before mounting fully, have not been tested. We therefore cannot guarantee the vest's performance in these situations.

Motorcycle Modes

Road Mode

The Road mode is designed to be used exclusively on paved roads suitable for vehicle traffic (i.e., with appropriate surfacing). This mode is dedicated to road use amid traffic.

Track Mode

The Track mode is dedicated to use on regulated closed circuits, hill climb races on roads, and supermoto.

Please ensure you wear your airbag system under a compatible suit.

Adventure Mode

The Adventure mode is intended for Trail, Leisure Enduro, or Off-Road Rally use on drivable dirt roads (i.e., a public road wider than a trail and not generally adapted for vehicle traffic).

Motocross (MX) Mode

The Motocross mode is designed for motocross or outdoor supercross use on dedicated closed circuits with jumps, bumps, varied terrain, and high speed, while incorporating situations that do not require inflation.
⚠ The Motocross mode is not yet available in the United States, Canada, and Japan.

Adventure Race Mode

The Adventure Race mode is designed for experienced and advanced riders in Rally Raid and competitive Enduro who are accustomed to these practices and do not want coverage for all types of falls.
