Washing
Your airbag product is not machine washable. Depending on your airbag model, there are three ways to clean it :
- With a damp cloth: all products
- By hand: eVest Pro (Held), Airscud Flex (Tucano Urbano)
- With a water jet: eVest Pro (Held), Armour shirt (RST), U04 and U05 (Ixon), Evo and Evolution+ (Furygan), Airscud Flex (Tucano Urbano), Ipro (iXS)
Cleaning with a damp cloth
- Remove the In&box
- Moisten a sponge with a little soapy water
- Clean the textile parts of your airbag
Be careful : never wet the back of the airbag, where the electronic part is located.
- Remove excess soap with the previously rinsed sponge
- Dry it with a clean cloth
- Let the airbag dry on a hanger for 12 hours, away from sunlight
Hand washing (if your airbag shell is fully removable)
WARNING: the total washing time should not exceed 10 minutes to limit water penetration into the airbag pocket.
WARNING: to avoid any damage, do not force the connector. If in doubt, refer to the post-inflation procedure to know how to remove the inflator and how to reinstall it.
- Remove the In&box
- Open the zipper of the shell and unplug the connector
- Unzip the shell completely to remove it
- Unscrew the Inflator, being careful not to lose the seal
- Remove the back protector
- Fill a clean container with cold, clear water with a little soap or mild detergent
- Dip your airbag in the water, being careful not to let any water enter through the alu cap
- Gently wash it by hand, never wringing it
- Rinse it with clear water
- Use a microfiber cloth to gently dry the Alu cap
- Let the airbag dry on a hanger for 12 hours, away from sunlight
Attention : never wring your airbag.
When your airbag is dry:
- Reposition the back protector by passing the Alu cap through the hole
- Close the zippers of the shell halfway
- Make sure the seal is properly in place in the Alu cap
- Screw the Inflator back in
- Plug in the connector
- Clip the Inflator and make sure the Alu cap, that is, the metal part, is properly in
- Then completely close the zipper
- Insert the In&box. The Inflator LED at the top left should turn green
Washing with a water jet

- Remove the In&box
- Open the zipper of the shell and unplug the connector
- Unscrew the Inflator (being careful not to lose the seal)
- Remove the back protector
- Close the zipper of the shell
- Hang your airbag on a hanger
- Rinse the airbag with clear, cold water, always keeping a distance of 1 meter if you use a water jet (garden hose or shower head), and 2 meters if you use a high-pressure jet
- Use a microfiber cloth and gently dry the Alu cap
- Let the airbag dry on its hanger for 12 hours, always away from sunlight
Attention: never try to wring out your airbag.
When your airbag is dry:
- Open the zipper of the shell
- Reposition the back protector
- Make sure the seal is properly in place in the Alu cap
- Screw the Inflator back in
- Plug in the connector
- Clip the Inflator and make sure the Alu cap is properly in
- Gently wipe the connector with a microfiber cloth
- Insert the In&box. The Inflator LED at the top left should turn green

Operating – Charging – Storage Temperatures
- The airbag product should be used exclusively at a temperature between -20°C and 55°C (-4°F and 131°F).
- The airbag product should be charged exclusively at a temperature between 0 and 40°C (32°F and 104°F).
- The airbag product should be stored exclusively at a temperature between -20 and 30°C (-4°F and 86°F).
Prolonged exposure of the system in these different cases to temperatures outside these ranges may compromise the functionality of your airbag product.
Don't forget to store the airbag product and the In&box in a clean, ventilated place, away from moisture (45 to 75%) and direct sunlight, protected from shocks and pressure. Do not store your airbag product and your In&box near flammable surfaces or objects. Do not leave your airbag product in direct sunlight (under a windshield, in a car, or in a top case, for example).
Altitude
The airbag product should be used exclusively at an altitude below 5000 meters.
Maintenance
Maintenance recommendations for your airbag product are indicated in the user manual provided with your airbag product. To perform maintenance, please contact your local dealer or the partner brand of the product.
The In&motion airbag system is designed to withstand 3 inflations (Origin module) or 5 inflations (Essential and Performance modules) provided that the post-inflation procedure has always been properly followed.
Recycling
In accordance with local laws and regulations, you must dispose of your product and/or its battery separately from household waste. Therefore, when this product reaches the end of its life, take it to a collection point designated by local authorities. Separate collection and recycling of your product and/or battery when it is disposed of will help conserve natural resources and ensure that it is recycled in a way that protects human health and the environment.
