How do I synchronise In&box?

Synchronizing the In&box is an important step for several reasons:

  • Firstly, available updates will be automatically downloaded to the In&box at the beginning of the synchronization process. We remind you that updates can also be downloaded directly via the My In&box mobile app (from version 5.3.0).
  • It also allows our teams to continuously improve detection algorithms through the collection of riding data*.
  • Finally, it helps to confirm that your subscription renewal has been processed and updated to the In&box (note that this is also possible through a simple connection via the mobile app).

Synchronization is necessary for the proper functioning of the In&box at least:

  • Once a year for a Revolution annual or Classic subscription.
  • Once a month for a Revolution monthly subscription.

Synchronizing the In&box via the app

Possible only from version 2.6.0 of the My In&box app. To get it, update the app on AppStore (iOS version) or on Google Play (Android version).

  • Go to the My In&box mobile app.
  • First, configure a Wi-Fi access point via the app.
  • On the app dashboard, start synchronization by clicking the tile at the bottom right.
  • You can track the progress of the synchronization via the app dashboard. A message will appear when it is complete.

Synchronizing the In&box via a USB cable

  • First, configure a Wi-Fi access point using the My In&box mobile app or via the manual Wi-Fi access point configuration procedure, if you do not have the mobile app.
  • Then, connect the In&box to a power outlet (wall socket and not USB) using a USB cable with a power adapter/wall plug (not provided) and close to your Wi-Fi access point. The In&box must be turned on.
  • The two upper LEDs of the In&box should normally blink alternately in blue: this indicates that the In&box is searching for your Wi-Fi network.
  • Then, the two upper LEDs will blink simultaneously in blue: this means that the In&box has found your Wi-Fi network and is therefore in synchronization.

Leave the In&box plugged in overnight to ensure that synchronization is completed.

Synchronization may take more or less time depending on the amount of data you have accumulated on the In&box. So don’t worry if the In&box blinks blue for several hours.

Synchronization can also occur automatically as soon as the In&box is turned on and strictly stationary for more than 2 minutes, within range of a Wi-Fi network that has been previously configured.

Caution: The In&box can be unplugged at any time; however, make sure not to turn it off during synchronization.

Once the synchronization process is complete the two upper LEDs will stop blinking blue.

LED status after synchronizing

If the In&box is out of the vest:

  • The Inflator LED (upper left LED) will turn red

  • The GPS LED (upper right LED) will turn off (if you do not receive GPS signal) or turn green (if you receive GPS signal).

If the In&box is plugged in and charging, the Battery LED is:

  • Blue if the In&box is plugged in and charging

  • Green if the In&box battery is charged to 100%

If the In&box is not plugged in, the Battery LED is:

  • Off if charged between 30 and 99%
  • Red if the In&box is charged between 5 and 30%
  • Flashing red if the In&box is charged below 5%
