What are the differences between motorcycle detection modes?

The types of riding are different on track (circuit), on road, and off-road, so it is essential to adapt to each practice to ensure optimal detection of falls and accidents.

In&motion has therefore developed several detection modes that adapt to each practice so that protection is optimal on the road, on the circuit, and off-road.

Street mode

The Street mode is designed to be used exclusively on roads adapted for vehicle traffic (i.e., with a suitable surface). This mode is dedicated to road use in traffic.

Track mode

The Track mode is dedicated to use on a closed, homologated circuit only.

Make sure to wear your airbag system under a compatible suit.

Adventure mode

The Adventure mode is dedicated to Trail, Leisure Enduro, or Off-Road Rally use on drivable paths such as dirt roads (i.e., a public road wider than a path and not adapted for general vehicle traffic).

MX mode

The MX mode is designed for motocross use on a closed circuit with jumps, bumps, varied terrain, and high speed while considering situations that do not require inflation.

⚠ MX mode is not yet available in the USA, Canada and Japan.

Adventure Race mode

The Adventure Race mode is designed for experienced and advanced riders in Rally Raid and Enduro competition who are accustomed to such practices and do not want to be covered for all types of falls.

All detection modes are available as an option, in addition to your main detection mode. You can find all the details of memberships and options on the In&motion website.
